Photography is fun!

sooo… i think i’m a little late getting this posted, but as long as its posted it should still count. (hehe) I have always had a sort of facination with photography and we had a professor come and speak with us about photography techniques to use while in Poland. I was amazed at how much there was to learn! Even the littlest change in an angle could make the picture come out completely different. I am so excited about capuring the life of Poland on film. The people, the culture, the artwork, the history. All of it excites me! I will be able to look back at these pictures years from now and truly bring back the memories and feelings that prompted me to take the pictures in the first place. Wow… I’m really going to do this, capture Poland on FILM!!!CC

million miles a minute

My mind is racing a million miles a minute!  I have SO much to do in the next 15 hours to get ready for the trip of a lifetime.  Tests, quizzes, packing, last minute runs to Wal-mart.  I guess its all apart of the experience.  I guess it all apart of being in college!!Its good to hear from family, friends, and faculty that there are going to be many people praying for us as we embark on this journey.  And I am glad to be going on this trip with the friends that I have.  I would not be able to make this kind of emotional trip without the support of those going with me!Like Kendra said yesterday…”Man, we have this much fun in class, imagine how its going to be once we are actually there!”  And that is SO true.  I look forward to hanging out with the close friends that I have made, as well as getting to know the ones I haven’t spent much time with yet!  We will each have a different story to share, and I am SO excited to see how we are all impacted by this impeccable journey. I can’t wait to see where this journey will lead in the future. -ALMiller

countdown ended…

The countdown I had set up on my mac has ended, meaning only one thing.  Our trip is less than 30 minutes from beginning.  I’m so excited.  I cannot believe it is finally here.  Ok…must run.  Hopefully the next blog I write will come from Poland. p.s.  the gracious people in IITL have provided us with a handy HDD Camcorder for us to use on the trip so be on the look out for a few video blogs! -Wes
