1. I'm almost jealous that I didn't get dehydrated and rushed to the hospital; that hotel sounded awesome, much better than my dorm room.

2. I really enjoyed reading this; you've got a neat mind.

Since when does Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speak for all Muslims!!! Do the crusaders of old or the Spanish conquistadors or the early colonizers of America or pedophilic priests speak for all Christians?! Does Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speak for all Iranians? Does President George W. Bush speak for all Americans?!

i really love what you have to say about the sunrises and sunsets! i think that kind of symbolism can be found everywhere but we just very seldom take notice of them.

i think you need to change the title because "the end" implies just that, the end. in the risk of sounding cliche, this is not the end, this is only the beginning. i really hope things continue the way they are going, because your right, this semester was truly a gift from God!

Frank would be proud. Sometimes a music piece or an event might be just that . . . transitory, like a prayer.

Well put, Eva. Incredibly well put. I agree with you wholeheartedly. Let's not fall back into the chains of apathy and self-centeredness to which we were all captive to some extent before the trip. We can all enact change and we can all strive to continue to learn and grow. Even better, even though we are back in Texas now and out of the small bubble we were in while in Poland, we can all make efforts to expand that bubble, to encompass the campus in the knowledge we have gained, and to support one another as we hope to make our dreams reality.

My parents visited Auschwitz last December. The image that struck my mother was the piles of shoes and suitcases. It is easy to connect Auschwitz with people by viewing the piles of shoes and suitcases.
